Dress for Success Pittsburgh will host a mobile services event at Waynesburg University on Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dress for Success provides free professional clothing and support to women across the region.
This event is for Waynesburg University students, and it will be held outdoors, in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center parking lot. Students who attend will select a complementary business professional outfit, including clothing, shoes, accessories and personal care items. Additionally, students will receive employment readiness support and connections to resources that address common barriers to employment, like food resources, professional mentorship, and childcare.
Pre-registration is encouraged before September 21 to receive priority selections at this event.
The Dress for Success mobile event is being held in September in conjunction with International Equal Pay Day. Resources addressing Equal Pay Day and intersectional feminism will be available as a part of Waynesburg University's Diversity & Belonging Program.
