RESPONSIBILITIES: The assistant coach is responsible for helping to provide leadership in the advancement of a small university men’s football program that emphasizes character development and the academic success of student-athletes. Responsibilities for the position include recruiting quality student athletes, practice organization, game planning and weekly preparation for position group, as well as contributing to positive alumni relations. Assistant Athletic Trainer

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Athletic Trainer has a responsibility for the athletic training services for varsity/junior varsity sports. Graduate Assistantship - Public Safety and Campus Security
Anticipated Date: Immediately
Job Description: Position entails working 19 hours a week for the Office of Public Safety. Tasks will be varied and diverse in nature, but all are related to the Public Safety. The graduate assistant will report to the Director of Public Safety.
Duties include:
- Enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and all policies and procedures of Waynesburg University.
- Prevents criminal activity and protects property University-wide, including lots, buildings and surrounding areas.
- Controls traffic, including the issuance of parking violations to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
- Routinely performs foot or mobile patrols to insure security of University or University lots, buildings and property.
- Assist individuals whose vehicles have become disabled.
- Responds to emergency situations on campus and serves as a primary point of contact in the absence of the Director/Assistant Director of Public Safety.
- Provides directions and assistance to campus visitors.
- Provides escort service for students on an as needed basis for off campus doctor appointments, when Student Services/Health Services/Athletic Training Staff personnel are not available.
- Assists in evacuations during fire or bomb threats and provides emergency first aid in the event of injury.
- Assists outside law enforcement agencies in securing warrants on campus.
- Reports traffic, safety, or security infractions to proper authorities.
- Operation and use of telephones/cell phones.
- Assist with Event Staff operations.
- Support campus Emergency Operations.
Job Qualifications: All interested candidates will need to successfully enroll in a graduate program at Waynesburg University in order to be eligible for the assistantship. - Must have an active Strength and Conditioning Certification (preferably CSCS through NSCA, a CSCCa, or a NCCA through NCSF) or be able to obtain one

- Recruit qualified student athletes to participate in the athletic program, as directed

High School graduation or GED equivalency. Two years of experience as a law enforcement officer required, preferably at a higher education institution. Must possess a valid driver's license.
