The Waynesburg University Honors Program and Biblical and Ministries Studies program welcomes guest lecturer Dr. Carl Trueman on Monday, April 15, at 7 p.m. He will present his lecture, “Man: Desecrated and Consecrated,” in Alumni Hall, located on the third floor of Miller Hall.
Dr. Trueman is a Christian theologian and church historian, professor of biblical and religious studies at Grove City College and an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. He received a master’s degree in Classics from the University of Cambridge and has a doctorate in Church History from the University of Aberdeen. He has published more than a dozen books. Dr. Trueman’s most recent title was published in February 2024: “Crisis of Confidence: Reclaiming the Historic Faith in a Culture Consumed with Individualism and Identity.”
The event is open to all students, faculty, staff and public community members.
