Waynesburg University Players to present “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”

The Waynesburg University Theatre, in association with Concord Theatricals, proudly presents “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” as its spring production.

Showtimes are Wednesday, March 19, through Saturday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center (GPAC) on the University’s main campus. Tickets can be purchased online and are $3 for Waynesburg University students, faculty and staff and $5 for general admission.

This production is the second under the direction of Ted Watts, Jr., director of theatre productions and part-time instructor of theatre at Waynesburg University, who has staged over 70 productions over his career as a director.

The musical, featuring an original rock score, is an action-packed mythical adventure based on the best-selling book “The Lightning Thief” by Rick Riordan
