Three Waynesburg University Education students have already been hired as full-time Pennsylvania teachers, after just graduating in May. The Waynesburg alumni are now working in the following positions:

  • Jordyn Wyllie: Butler School District, Butler, PA - Elementary Life Skills
  • Amanda Lucas: Penns Manor Elementary, Clymer, PA - 3rd Grade
  • Liz Sible: Vista School, Hershey, PA - Autism Support Teacher

"I am ready to sit cross cross applesauce as an elementary life skills teacher in the Butler Area School District," said Wyllie. "I am beyond blessed by the experiences I had through Waynesburg University's Education Department. Because of my professors, classes, and field experiences, I was prepared for the teaching exams and the interview process. I was able to get a job within a month of graduating in Pennsylvania!"
