Chemistry
Complete chemistry, biology, mathematics and physics course to prepare for work in the professional field or in a graduate program. You'll work closely with our American Chemical Society chapter throughout your undergrad.
Applied Sciences
The Applied Sciences major offers students an interdisciplinary approach to the sciences. Students take a foundation of courses within different disciplines of the sciences before eventually declaring their two focus areas in any of the following fields: biology, chemistry, computer science, environmental science, forensics, health and exercise science, or mathematics.
Biochemistry / Pre-Med
This program is the perfect match if you have a passion for biology, chemistry and the other physical sciences, and includes a certification option through the American Chemical Society.
Forensic Chemistry
Combine classical chemistry knowledge with forensic techniques and criminal justice strategies as you prepare for an exciting career in forensics. This program includes a certification option through the American Chemical Society.
Chemistry (Secondary Education)
You'll prepare for a career in secondary science education through this program. You'll learn about the physical sciences as well as modern pedagogical methods.
Chemistry (Secondary Education - General Science)
Our general science concentration option for secondary chemistry education prepares you to teach in many varied physical science classrooms.
Forensic Science
Our forensic science curriculum combines modern biology and chemistry lectures and laboratory research, and it’s designed to provide depth of specialization in chemistry.
Pharmaceutical Science / Pre-Pharmacy
Pharmaceutical Science draws together the fields of biology and chemistry with an ultimate goal of studying drug development. If you are looking for a career that involves using medicine to help others and you enjoy a challenge, this major might be for you.
Forensic Investigation
This program enables students to develop an understanding of the principles and techniques utilized by forensic practitioners during criminal investigations and at the crime scene. As a forensic investigation student, you will gain a practical understanding of the capabilities and limitations of scientific analyses of physical evidence.
Forensic Biology
As a forensic biology student, you will be prepared to pursue forensic/crime laboratory careers or admission to post-graduate programs. Through this program, you can apply your skills and interests while growing your expertise within the forensic science services industry.
Chemical Engineering
This program provides students with a strong foundation of modern theory and laboratory skills for chemistry options in engineering. Students are also prepared for advanced study in chemistry or medicine.
