Areas of Study
Certificate in Substance Use Disorders Counseling
This certificate is for professionals who are working in the field and are seeking a certification in substance use disorder counseling. It is a four-course, 12-credit option that can be completed in two semesters and available 100% online.
Certificate in Clinical Supervision
This 12-credit, non-degree, post-baccalaureate certificate is offered 100% online and can be successfully completed in as little as two semesters. Upon completion, licensed professionals will be well positioned to pursue the Center for Credentialing and Education Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential and non-licensed professionals may qualify for the Pennsylvania Certification Board's Certified Clinical Supervision (CSC) credential.
Special Education Certification
Successful completion of this option’s required 30 credits garners the academic criteria needed to add special education certification to an existing teaching certificate. It prepares professionals to work with various special needs populations.
Autism Spectrum Disorders Endorsement Program
Current Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate holders can study to earn the autism spectrum disorders endorsement in this 12-credit program, available fully online. Study the etiology of autism and learn to design educational programs for these students.
Online Teaching Program
Learn effective strategies for teaching online, contemporary issues in technology, and how to integrate technology with teaching and learning. Available for professionals with a wide variety of bachelor’s degree backgrounds, classes are offered fully online in 8 week sessions.
