Nurse Camp

Nurse Camp is for current junior and senior high school students who are interested in studying nursing. During this two-day event, students will be educated about the nursing profession through classroom activities and hands-on opportunities in our Simulation Lab. They will also have the opportunity to earn CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Please join us and find out if nursing is the career for you!

The camp cost includes instruction, activities, CPR card and training materials, lunch, and a t-shirt.

9 a.m. - Registration

9:15 a.m. - Introduction/Overview & Camp Photo Booth

9:30 a.m. - Group Icebreaker Activity

10 a.m. - Dr. Potato Head Surgery

11 a.m. - Glow Germs for Handwashing

12 p.m. - Teaching Kitchen/Lunch

1 p.m. - Skills immersion in simulation lab with sophomore nursing students

3 p.m. - Panel Discussion
