Emily Ames

Emily Ames is a Daughter of the American Revolution and spends much of her free time studying her family ancestry. She also serves as the social media coordinator for her church, Elevation Church, managing the church’s social media platforms, including Pastor Steven Furtick and Holly Furtick’s accounts.

Ames loves spending time with her family, including her husband and her mini Aussie, Maggie Mae. Some of her favorite things to do include reading, exploring new places and going on adventures in her Bronco, being creative, and spending time outdoors.

Ames is a Waynesburg University alumna having graduated in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, majoring in business management, finance and economics. She joined the Waynesburg University staff in November of 2015 and currently works for the Department of Nursing.

Ames graduated from Boston University in May of 2017 with a Master of Science in finance. She studied abroad at the Monterrey Institute of Technology, obtaining a certificate in international business. She is a part of the BU Career Advisory Network and a member of the BU Alumni Association Committee.
