Counseling Minor
The counseling minor is designed to supplement the educational needs of students enrolled in any human service discipline.
Through experiential study, you’ll be exposed to counseling models that emphasize cultural competency using a wellness-based approach, rather than an illness-based approach. Students in this minor are trained to help members of society who are in need while providing students with a philosophical view based in foundation counseling approaches. There are 24 credits required for this minor program.
