The Waynesburg University Institutional Review Board (IRB) safeguards all human research subjects by ensuring that their rights, safety, and well-being are protected. The committee also provides researchers with timely review and monitoring of their human research projects.
The University’s IRB is guided by the principles of respect for persons, beneficence, and justice, as set forth in the Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research (The Belmont Report). Please contact the IRB Administrator Barbara Kirby at bkirby@waynesburg.edu with any questions.
