To simplify the transfer process, Waynesburg University has articulation agreements with select institutions. Students who follow one of these paths must meet the University's admission requirements. Below are the current institutions we offer articulation agreements with:
A.W. Beattie Career Center
Waynesburg credits will be granted to students who have met the following criteria for the programs listed below:
- Students must have completed the curriculum as outlined in the A.W. Beattie Career Center Program of Studies catalog.
- Students must have earned at least a "B" grade average (3.00/4.00) at A.W. Beattie for the years of instruction completed.
Communications and Sports Media
Upon verification the students have successfully met the above criteria, achieved a total test score of at least 75% on the respective NOCTI Exam and upon enrollment at Waynesburg, students will be awarded a total of six credits for the following two courses:
COM I 09 (3 credits)- Multimedia 1
COM 126 (3 credits) - Principles of Design
Early Childhood Education
Upon verification the students have successfully met the above criteria, a Test Score of at least 75% on the respective written and performance sections of the NOCTI Exam and upon enrollment at Waynesburg, students will be awarded a total of six credits for the following two courses:
ECE 105 (3 credits)-Introduction to Teaching PreK-4
SPE 111 (3 credits)-Typical Atypical Development 0-5
Exercise Science
Upon verification the students who have successfully met the above criteria, have a total test score of at least 75% on the appropriate NOCTI Exam (This will be waived until the exam has been written and pilot tested.) and upon enrollment at Waynesburg, will be awarded a total of seven credits for the following four courses:
BIO 105 (2 credits) - Medical Terminology
HSC 105 (1 credit)- Introduction to Health Sciences
llSC 205 (3 credit)- Sports Medicine Concepts & Injuries
HSC 136 (1 credit)- First Aid and CPR Training
Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC)
RN to BSN
Those who have completed the Associate Degree in Nursing program are automatically admissible to Waynesburg’s RN-BSN program upon receiving their license as a Registered Nurse. Incoming students will have the opportunity to transfer up to 91 credits.
Community College of Beaver County (CCBC)
RN to BSN
Those who have completed the Associate Degree in Nursing program are automatically admissible to Waynesburg’s RN-BSN program upon receiving their license as a Registered Nurse. Incoming students will have the opportunity to transfer up to 91 credits.
Butler County Community College (BC3)
RN to BSN
Those who have completed the Associate Degree in Nursing program are automatically admissible to Waynesburg’s RN-BSN program upon receiving their license as a Registered Nurse. Incoming students will have the opportunity to transfer up to 91 credits.
Westmoreland County Community College (WCCC)
RN to BSN
Those who have completed the Associate Degree in Nursing program are automatically admissible to Waynesburg’s RN-BSN program upon receiving their license as a Registered Nurse. Incoming students will have the opportunity to transfer up to 91 credits.
