Rachel Mitter

Rachel Mitter grew up in Greene County, attending Graysville Elementary and West Greene Middle School before graduating from Hundred High School.

After high school, she worked as a Christian camp counselor and later as a cashier for Giant Eagle while taking some classes at Waynesburg University.

Through her years of service at Giant Eagle, she held various roles, including Front End manager and Cash Office manager.

In 2021, she transitioned to janitorial work and joined Waynesburg University as an overnight housekeeper. Currently, she is the assistant director of Housekeeping, helping to lead and guide a team that efficiently cleans and beautifies the University’s facilities.

She and her husband, Bill, reside in West Greene, and she has a son, Allen.
