Janet Teagarden

Jan Teagarden has been with Waynesburg University since January 1976. Currently, she is an academic secretary for the Department of English & Foreign Languages, the Department of Communication and the Department of Business Administration.

Her first role was serving as the secretary in the administrative office of what is now called Institutional Advancement. Over the course of her more than 46 years with the University, she has worked in several administrative and academic departments.

Teagarden and her husband reside in Greene County and have two sons. Her oldest son is a graduate of Waynesburg University with a degree in history and a minor in political science.
