Jane Owen

Director of the Educational Enrichment Programs, Clinical Services and the Counseling Center

Biography

Owen has been a member of the Waynesburg University staff for 31 years. She graduated from West Virginia University with her social work degree in 1980 and earned her Master of Social Work Degree from WVU in 1989. In addition to being the director of the university counseling center, Owen is also a social work instructor and facilitator of the state funded Act 101 program. Owen recently completed her coursework in Waynesburg University’s PhD in Counselor Education Program. She resides in Waynesburg with her husband, John. They have two grown children and two grandchildren.
