David Mariner

Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Assistant Provost for Graduate and Professional Studies

Biography

Dave Mariner has more than 19 years of experience working in higher education administration where his responsibilities have included program management, new program development, faculty development and supervision, advising, enrollment management, retention, budgeting, operational management, accreditation and marketing.  He has also taught Statistical Methods part-time in the Master of Business Administration program.  Dr. Mariner's career at Waynesburg University began in the Office of Admissions in 1999.  He continues to serve Waynesburg University as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Assistant Provost for Graduate and Professional Studies.

In addition, Dr. Mariner is active in the community where he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.  He also served as the Chairman of the Southpointe CEO Association where he served on the Board of Directors from 2008 through 2018 when the association merged with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a proud graduate of Leadership Washington County and serves on the Overlook Homeowners Association Board of Directors.  In addition, he is an active volunteer with the Peters Township Softball Association.  He and his family are members of the South Hills Bible Chapel where they also serve.
