Adrienne Tharp

Assistant Dean of Student Development

Biography

Adrienne Tharp has been with the Waynesburg University staff for nearly 10 years. As the Assistant Dean of Student Development, Tharp oversees the University’s Bonner Scholars Program, the Center for Service Leadership, Cultural Diversity & Belonging, as well as study abroad opportunities.

Prior to working at Waynesburg, Tharp was the Director of the Service for Social Action Center at Wheeling Jesuit University. She also served with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked with the homeless and street youth. She also completed a second year of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Tharp resides in Waynesburg with her husband, their two children and two Boxers.
