Video Production Services Technician
Biography
Jayden Hawk is the video production services technician at Waynesburg University. He worked as an A/V Field Service Engineer across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia for six years, where he serviced corporate campuses, hospitals and medical schools, universities, and many more educational and other facilities. Hawk settled down in Waynesburg after assisting with the with the upgrade of the Department of Communication's TV studio and mobile production trailer; he had been impressed with the students' engagement and devotion to their craft of television and broadcast.
Hawk, an avid gamer himself, recently became an assistant coach for the University's Esports program and is excited to grow the program and create new pathways for campus outreach.
In 2018, Hawk married his wife, Ivy. Some fun facts about Hawk include: he owns a collection of video game soundtracks on vinyl record and cassette tapes, he's never broken a bone, and he started producing a spoof of the show "SurvivorMan" when he was younger.
