Waynesburg University was recently recognized as a “Best Bachelor’s Degree” College in the state of Pennsylvania by University HQ. The University ranked No. 16 out of the 100 institutions listed.
University HQ relies on data from multiple government sources to build comparisons that are even and consistent.
Data was collected from the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), part of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES); the College Scorecard from the U.S. Department of Education; the Bureau of Labor Statistics; and Payscale.
A number of ranking factors from each school were considered, including cost of tuition, admission rate, retention rate, graduate rate, graduating salary, number of programs offered, online program offered, loan default rate, diplomas awarded and the percentage of students receiving financial aid.
Waynesburg University offers more than 70 undergraduate major concentrations with the option to choose from more than 30 minors. Top programs include nursing and criminal justice, which rank among the best nationally.
Waynesburg was also recently named a “Best Master’s Degree” College in the state by University HQ, ranking No. 11 overall.
