Waynesburg University has been recognized as a 2024-2025 College of Distinction, marking the ninth consecutive year of receiving the honor. The University was also named a Pennsylvania College of Distinction and a Christian College of Distinction.
Unlike traditional ranking systems, Colleges of Distinction’s selection process involves detailed interviews and research with institutions which evaluate their adherence to the Four Distinctions: Engaged Students, Great Teaching, Vibrant Community and Successful Outcomes. The College of Distinction award reflects an institution’s commitment to satisfying those distinctions.
In addition to its recognition as a 2024-2025 College of Distinction, specialized recognition was also given to the University’s programs in business, education and nursing.
