Waynesburg University has been recognized as a 2022-2023 College of Distinction for its commitment to helping undergraduate students learn, grow and succeed, marking the seventh consecutive year for the honor.
The University was also named a Pennsylvania College of Distinction and a Christian College of Distinction.

Colleges of Distinction’s selection process includes a sequence of in-depth research and detailed interviews with schools, all of which must adhere to the Four Distinctions - Engaged Students, Great Teaching, Vibrant Community and Successful Outcomes.
According to Colleges of Distinction, these principles are informed by high-impact practices to prioritize the ways that institutions enable students to have a fulfilling, individualized college experience both inside and outside of the classroom.

In addition to the overall undergraduate recognitions, Colleges of Distinction also presented Waynesburg with special recognition in the areas of Business, Education and Nursing.
