Waynesburg University will host an Open House Saturday, Oct. 28, for high school students, transfer students and their families. The event will begin at 9 a.m. with registration in Roberts Chapel.

“Fall Open House is a great way to experience our busy campus,” said Jacqueline Palko, director of admissions. “There will be no shortage of current students, faculty and staff to discuss how a Waynesburg education might impact your life.”

The Open House will include information regarding the admissions process, financial aid and student activities. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with faculty in their area of interest and participate in a guided campus tour. The event will end with lunch in the Benedum Dining Hall.

Waynesburg University currently enrolls approximately 1,400 undergraduate students and offers more than 70 academic concentrations for students to study.

Waynesburg was recently named to MONEY Magazine’s 2017-2018 “Best Colleges For Your Money” list, and 97 percent of 2016 graduates have been reported working full time or studying in their chosen field within one year of graduation.

For more information or to register, call 1-800-225-7393 or email admissions@waynesburg.edu.

Founded in 1849 by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Waynesburg University is located on a traditional campus in the hills of southwestern Pennsylvania, with three additional sites located in the Pittsburgh region. The University is one of only 21 Bonner Scholar schools in the country, offering local, regional and international opportunities to touch the lives of others through service.
