TUBACHRISTMAS

Event hosted by the Waynesburg University Symphonic Band and the Music Program, a division of the Fine Art Department

Christmas carols...played on baritones, euphoniums, and tubas...and the audience gets to participate...what could provide a better start to the holiday season!?! MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS is celebrating its 45th Anniversary (1974-2019). Created by the great tuba player Harvey Phillips, MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS 2019 concerts will be presented in over 300 cities throughout the United States and in several foreign countries.

The warm, rich organ-like sound of the tuba-euphonium choir has won the ears and hearts of every audience. It is no wonder that TUBACHRISTMAS has become an established Christmas tradition in cities throughout the world. Join the Waynesburg community on Friday, December 6, 2019, in the Goodwin Performing Arts Center to kick off a marvelous holiday season!
