Gain immersive experience
Through role-play and in-depth research alongside your professors, you’ll explore the intersections between theory and practice. You’ll also connect with other psychology students as you participate in seminars, field trips, research, and other activities around a variety of themes in your field.
Strengthen your degree
Students with an interest in Psychology can choose the minor program, with a 21 credit requirement. Study psychology, personality, cognitive psychology, psychobiology, and other courses selected from the psychology major curriculum.

You’ll become familiar with the major concepts, theories, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology. You will also learn - through hands-on research and experiential opportunities guided by expert faculty - to apply basic therapy techniques and research methods of psychology. Students will have the opportunity to learn from a licensed, practicing counselor. They will also be able to conduct their own research, present it at a professional conference, and submit it for publication. The curriculum is designed to prepare you for graduate work in psychology and related fields.
