The National Weather Service has issued a severe winter storm warning for Waynesburg and the surrounding region from Sunday night through Monday. Snow accumulations of 6-12 inches with heavy winds and possible ice are forecasted. Due to the hazardous driving conditions in Greene County and the surrounding area, Waynesburg University will be closed on Monday, January 6. Only essential personnel are expected to report.
