Group Visit Options

Group visit events are for sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school, as well as transfer students. All visits will be held in compliance with our Keep Waynesburg Well plan.*

Open House Options

For prospective students and families who prefer a larger group format, an Open House is the perfect way to visit WU. These days include a campus tour with a current Waynesburg student, a meeting with faculty members, an Admissions and Financial Aid session, and even lunch in the dining hall.

Saturday Information Sessions

Saturday Information Sessions are available to give interested students and their families additional opportunities to see Waynesburg University’s beautiful campus and learn about what makes it such a special place.

During these Information Sessions, prospective students will sit in on a presentation by the office of Admissions to review the admissions process and information on financial aid. They will also receive a tour of campus with a Student Ambassador.

Specialty Visit Options

Mock Crime Scene Workshops: These events are intended to provide high school juniors and seniors with an opportunity to learn from law enforcement and crime scene professionals and field experts, how to investigate a crime scene, collect and document evidence, interview witnesses, and experience other aspects of law enforcement and crime scene investigation.

Chemistry for the Future - Careers, Majors, & More: This event is intended to provide high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors an opportunity to learn about careers in chemistry, biochemistry, forensic chemistry, or pharmaceutical science. Come learn how chemists impact society through a variety of careers. Shimadzu Corporation, the world's second largest instrumentation developer, will be on site to talk to students and provide a look into what chemists actually do in the lab.

Fall Chemistry for the Future - Careers, Majors, & More: December 5, 2024

Want a day all about you?

Personal campus visits are available Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 2 PM. During one of these visits, prospective students will tour campus with a current student and talk with an admissions counselor. Additionally, prospective students have the opportunity to meet with a faculty member and/or coach, sit in on a class or attend Chapel (Tuesdays at 11 a.m. only).
