Achievement Awards
We review your high school GPA and SAT/ACT test scores (updated testing information can be found here) to determine your high school academic achievement, and, based on that, we’ll award you one of the following scholarships. The scholarship you earn for your first year is renewable and awarded for eight consecutive semesters (excluding summer) of undergraduate enrollment or until a bachelor's degree is achieved (whichever comes first) on Waynesburg University’s main campus.
Who can apply: All accepted first-year freshman students will be considered for an Achievement Award based on their application for admission. Scholarships below are effective for new first-year freshman students beginning Fall 2025. Scholarship amounts are reduced for students who do not reside in University housing.
Out-of-state students: Out-of-state students who receive an Achievement Award also qualify for our State Scholarship, worth an additional $4,000/year. Additionally, students who travel more than 300 miles one way from their home address may qualify for a travel voucher for a campus visit - get more information here!
To learn more about the exact GPA and standardized test scores that are needed for each award, contact the Office of Admissions at 800-225-7393 or admissions@waynesburg.edu. More information about the SAT/ACT testing requirement for 2024 can be found here.
