Mock Crime Scene event to be held Nov. 9

Matthew Stultz Oct 7, 2019

Waynesburg University will host its fall Mock Crime Scene event Saturday, Nov. 9, for high school students interested in studying forensic investigation or criminal justice.

The event provides students with an opportunity to gain real experience while working with a hypothetical crime scene.

Attendees will participate in sessions focused on crime scene processing, drug analysis, firearms identification and fingerprint analysis. Typical instructors on hand include scientists and officers from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Crime Lab and the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab, as well as detectives from Westmoreland County.

For more information, contact the Office of Admissions at 1-800-225-7393 or admissions@waynesburg.edu.
