Ashley Kelver
Assistant Director of Residence Life
Resident Director
I started my service at Waynesburg University as a resident director in 2011. I serve as the Resident Director of South, West, East and Pollock, and as the Assistant Director of Residence Life. I am an Indiana Wesleyan University graduate with B.S. in Psychology, and I am currently pursuing my MA in counseling here at Waynesburg University. My husband Joshua and I are thankful to be part the Waynesburg University family. There is nothing more rewarding than journeying alongside our residents as they learn to share the bathroom sink, work through frustrations with roommates, grow deep respect and genuine love for others, and embrace the adventure that God has for them at Waynesburg University.

Luke Payson
Assistant Director of Student Activities
Resident Director
I started my service on the Residence Life Team in 2010. I am excited to serve as the Resident Director of Willison Hall and begin my service as the Assistant Director of Student Activities. I graduated from Waynesburg University in 2006 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and again in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling. I served as an assistant track and field coach for five seasons. I truly love Waynesburg University’s community and environment and feel that we have a unique staff and faculty that collaborate to provide students with more than just academic knowledge. Also, I’m happy to say that I met my wife Michelle at Waynesburg University while we were both undergrads.

Anne Schrock
Resident Director
I am the Resident Director of Burns Hall and Ray Hall. I received my B.A. in Youth Ministry from Malone University and am in the process of receiving my MA in Spiritual Formation from Spring Arbor University. My Passion for ministering to college students is rooted in my understanding of the trials and celebrations that happen during the college journey and how transformational they can be. As an RD, my hope is to bring life-learning experiences to the residents outside the classroom and to give them the space and encouragement to be the women they were created to be.

Russ Schneider
Resident Director
I am the Resident Director of Thayer Hall. I graduated from Arcadia University with a BA in Biology where I was an RA for 3 years. I was born and raised in New Jersey. I enjoy playing sports (non)competitively - Ultimate frisbee, golf and soccer are few of my favorites. In my down time I don't mind going for a run, watching movies or the occasional snooze. I enjoy serving - whether it be at a local church, a friend or someone in need. Sharing the love of Christ is God’s command on my life and I hope to accomplish fulfilling a call to Waynesburg University.

Chris Kellner
Resident Director
I grew up moving often but spent my high school years in Murrysville (PA) graduating from Franklin Regional High School in 2006. I then attended Grove City College to study business, eventually graduating with honors in Finance by May of 2010. Athletics were another significant part of my journey at Grove City College where I played lacrosse and rugby. Directly after college, I spent two years working with my financial background before deciding to pursue a career in higher education. Through the Lord's guidance, I was directed to Waynesburg and felt the call to be a resident director. I'm excited to begin my work and continue seeking the Lord with the staff and students of Waynesburg University.
