INTERNATIONAL CULTURE OPTION

The entire world is available to Waynesburg University students - through organized trips, semester or summer study, and individual travel. Your university experience is enriched and your resume enhanced when you spend time in another country. Take your Waynesburg University experience outside the U.S. and see for yourself how the Christian university context can help you in diverse locations.

Faculty sponsor one-time trips which vary from year to year. These normally carry academic credit and may occur during spring break or some other period of time. Recently, student groups have been to Australia, Germany, Hungary, Korea, Mexico and Russia. In some cases, scholarship funds can help with costs. With most groups you will be called on for service along with your study. In all instances, you will be changed forever by the experience.

Every semester, students have available structured study programs affiliated with Waynesburg University. The University has related campuses in China, Costa Rica, Egypt, England, Ireland, Kenya, Korea, Spain, Russia and other countries. Most of these do not require that you know the local language - classes are taught in English. Pick a location - the University will help you spend a semester, a summer, or a month in your new experience. Some of these sites are operated by the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and are highly competitive - so plan early as you arrange your trip abroad.
