Coordinator of GAPS Nursing Programs

QUALIFICATIONS:         Bachelor’s Degree required.  Master’s Degree preferred.  Current or eligible for and able to obtain registered nurse licensure in PA.  One year of experience working in a higher education administrative setting and prior experience in a health care setting desired; specialization in nursing education preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:    This position will coordinate the administrative duties regarding the RN to BSN, MSN and DNP programs including Recruitment, Admission, Orientation, Academic Progress Monitoring, Portfolio Evaluation, Student Advising, Faculty Coordination in collaboration with the Directors of the RN to BSN and MSN programs as well as other administrative functions.  Periodic travel to the various center locations in Southpointe, Seven Fields and Monroeville as well as hospital sites required.

Director of Christian Life

SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Position requires a Masters of Divinity from a seminary or divinity school, and further post-graduate study. Ordination in a denominational or church body, preferably the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. or a member of a denomination in correspondence with the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.  A record of theological leadership, a strong intellectual background committed to advancing the Reformed evangelical tradition, and a deep desire to promote, encourage, and nurture faith in Jesus Christ for a new generation of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and administrators.   This individual will cherish the decency and order of traditional Reformed liturgy while leading regularly scheduled and expanding worship services-including frequent communion and Bible study.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the development and implementation of religious programs that are made available to Waynesburg University students. Coordinate and lead weekly worship opportunities, as well as special services including frequent communion and Bible study in the University’s new 800-seat Roberts Chapel. Provide pastoral care and support to all members of the University community. Duties would also include teaching courses in the University's Biblical Ministries program, such as Systematic Theology, New Testament, Old Testament, and Youth Ministry.
