Communication Program at Waynesburg University

The Department of Communication will offer you the opportunity to get involved with student-led activities as early as your freshman year. As a communication major, you will benefit from outside classroom experience in public relations, print journalism, broadcast journalism and other forms of digital media.

As a communication major, you can choose to study a variety of options including electronic media, digital design (graphic design), print journalism, public relations, sports information/sports broadcasting and advertising.

You will discover the role of a Christian-worldview as it relates to the communication fields while receiving extraordinary practical application experiences with media outlets like ESPN, FOX Sports Network, and more.
