PRSSA CHAPTER

The Public Relations Student Society of America is a national organization that cultivates favorable and mutually advantageous relationships between students and professional public relations practitioners. Waynesburg University received its Charter in July of 2010 and has 23 members in its inaugural year.

The Waynesburg University PRSSA Chapter focuses on preparing members for future careers through special events, professional development and fundraising. Members also have the opportunity to attend conferences and workshops in Pittsburgh.

To be a member, students must have an interest in the field of public relations and pay yearly dues to PRSSA National. As due paying members, students receive weekly professional development e-mail updates and other opportunities from both the PRSSA and PRSA.
