While attending medical school at a larger university, I often found myself yearning for the days of smaller classes and very personal attention I received at Waynesburg. Because of this attention, I had a very strong foundation in the basic sciences that made succeeding in medical school much easier.

The legacy of Waynesburg that is with me today is the commitment to service and learning. Now that I am finally a physician and practicing in a small community, I realized that Waynesburg was the perfect place for me. "Waynesburg prepared me not only for a challenging curriculum in law school, but also a successful career in federal law enforcement. As I consider my career as a special agent in the United States Secret Service (presently assigned to the presidential Protective Division), and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Bar of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, it is quite clear that my experience at Waynesburg and the outstanding education I received there laid the groundwork for an exciting, rewarding, and challenging career.

As a student, I was exposed to local, state, and federal law enforcement officials, which supplemented my studies. I had the honor of working with the Waynesburg Borough Police Department as an intern during my junior and senior years at Waynesburg. This provided invaluable insight into the criminal justice system at work, which I will value throughout my career."
