Greetings from Waynesburg!

As a graduate assistant of this institution, the Waynesburg experience is fresh in my mind, as well as the sometimes stressful process of choosing a college. If there’s one word of advice I can give, it’s “just breathe.” This decision can be a hectic time for anyone, but that’s why the admissions department is here to help. I hope to assist in any way possible for making that right choice.

When I sought out to find a college that would fit me best after high school, I had many options and not much of an idea of what I really wanted to do. After a lot of praying and searching, I decided that I wanted a small, private, Christian institution where I could be heavily involved in the communications department as well play tennis and music. God led me to Waynesburg, and I am certain that this was and still is the place for me!

If you have any questions about Waynesburg University, or the college search in general, I’m happy to help you locate your best fit.

About Me
When I started my undergraduate at Waynesburg University, I was fairly nervous. I was a commuter and was not fully sure how I would adapt to the campus outside of the dorm. My nerves were almost instantly relieved when I began to meet professors, students, teammates, coaches and many other individuals from the school with whom I could identify and form strong relationships. I was able to become acquainted with this school quickly and fill my time with many of my passions. I played on the varsity tennis team where I made some of my closest friends. In addition to this extracurricular activity, I participated in many musical activities such as the saxophone ensemble and open mic nights.

My involvement as a communication student gave me academic knowledge as well as hands-on experience that I could transfer into the professional field. After participating in various productions such as our sports remotes, studio shows and live concerts, I felt prepared to be a competitive candidate in the industry. I applied these skills at my internship with WQED-TV where I helped produce material for the Pittsburgh PBS affiliate.

In my spare time, I love to play music. I dabble with various musical instruments, and I view this as my favorite hobby, as it is what brought me and my beautiful fiancée, Emily, together at Waynesburg. I am currently pursuing my MBA at Waynesburg University, and am so excited to continue my experience here!
