Admissions

AUTOMATIC ACADEMIC AWARDS

First-time freshmen students at Waynesburg University are eligible for between $2,000 and $15,000 in Automatic Academic Awards.

Students can receive one of the following four awards, which are based specifically on cumulative high school GPA and/or composite SAT or ACT score:

*These scholarships will be reduced by $2,000 for students not living in campus housing

Students can also receive one of the following two awards:

Out of state students can additionally be eligible for:

The University encourages prospective students to apply for admission to see, if accepted, where exactly in that range they may fall. All scholarships are renewable for up to four academic years or until a bachelor’s degree is achieved (whichever comes first). Please see the academic catalog for the GPA requirements to maintain each award. All scholarships are also automatically awarded upon acceptance, so no additional application is needed.

* The Admissions Committee reserves the right to recalculate GPA based on core curriculum and evaluate all academic credentials included within the application process for admittance and scholarship purposes.
