FACULTY POSITION

MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

POSITION AVAILABLE:  Beginning August 22, 2001 or January 8, 2001.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

SALARY/RANK: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; likely to be Instructor or Assistant Professor.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field preferred. Evidence of teaching experience with good teaching evaluations.  Ability to teach variety of courses.  Expertise in the use of technology in the classroom.  The candidate must be committed to the mission and purpose of Christian higher education.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to teach either all undergraduate level mathematics courses or all undergraduate level computer science courses, with the ability and desire to contribute in the teaching of several courses in the other area.  Other normal faculty duties and service are expected.
